Homemade Spiced Rum

So simple.

Get a bottle of good golden rum and insert
A cinnamon stick,
2 allspice berries,
2 cloves,
1 vanilla bean,
1 "petal" of star anise,
and
1 pith-free twirly strip of orange peel.

Wait 24 hours.

Strain. Rebottle. Admire its spicy beauty.

Sounds delicious.. I am going to try some in the holidays. I tend to make whiskey and rum cocktails but this sounds like it might be fun...
